Well I just did! 20 miles on very empty, dry B roads, ending (the last two or three miles) with a stunning Aston Martin pulling right behind me. What followed was incredibly exciting - I drove the wheels off the M135i, he was definitely a decent driver. The BM pulled a little ahead on the bends (very twisty road), he clearly had a LOT of power. A flash of lights and a friendly toot (Astons even have lovely sounding horns!), showed it was "one of those drives."
So if that was you in a lovely black AM, with silver grille surround (I think it was a DB9 but not seen that paint effect before; too big for a Vantage), nice driving; that was fun!!

Of course all are much quicker in a straight line but this was hatch territory . Anyway it was in good spirits and this isn't a "whose car is faster" thread - it's a "fun drives, occasionally with fellow enthusiasts."

Most of the "Atlantic Highway" (A39 to Bude), the road from Polzeath (or Wadebridge) to Tintagel, the road down to St Mawes, several roads on Bodmin Moor, several little stretches like the road from Delabole to Trebarwith, the road around Zennor past St Ives, Helston to Penzance and many more.If so, where are the good driving roads because I'm yet to find them.
All far better out of season of course.
Looks like the AM was almost certainly an N430 in "stealth" colour way.

Just got back from a pretty good run out in the ST after reading this thread originally about 7pm, looking outside and then thinking bugger it! I'm off for a bit! 
Cue popping in a tenner of BPs finest and a bloody good rag around the Beds/ Cambs border! Yes I know it's no Stelvio Pass but there are some good twisty roads with some good straights and I am actually still starting to enjoy the ST a tad more!
Was bloody good fun coming off some low speed tight corners and then slingshotting down a nice long straight! All 5 cylinders thrumming away and the exhaust / turbo popping lovely as it got nice and hot! Then I came to realise its actually the first time I've took the ST just 'out for a drive'! Must start doing it more, nothing beats it to release a bit of a stress after a day of work!
Fuel lights back on now though... Bugger

Main problem I find with most roads around there is the width, obviously I never hoon anything that isn't 2 lanes but even then there isn't much room!
I found the road from Lelant Saltings train station to the Balnoon Inn can be quite fun, lots of reasonably quick sweepers!

Oh yes, always this after a drive! Especially with a turbo! Nice to get out and have a little walk around and listen/ admire whilst its cooling off, perfect end to 'a bit of me time with the car' before popping it back in the garage before the commute o work again in the morning! Hopefully we get some more decent evenings and weekends so I can start doing this more often

I do like the Gurnards Head too; we're a bit far away now (was near Truro, now Polzeath) but we will head that way soon; probably in the camper so I won't be going very quickly!
My usual route back to the old man's for the weekend ends up with me joining the A3 sb at the Wooden Bridge Guildford, or taking the M3 then cutting over to the A3 via Alton and Selborne. Few weeks ago decided to get off the A3 at Liphook and take the old road down to the 272, then across country via Harting and Uppark to Westbourne, W Sussex. Unlikely at 5-6 PM on a friday but a remarkably clear run just as the nights were drawing out a bit, top drive and probably a new route for that journey. Next time will probably be a saturday dawn blast though, just to be certain.
