Finally lowered the car on Eibachs..
Discussion
Car was on Apex Springs and far too low for my liking, think the Eibachs set it off just right.
I am after some CSL wheels now, unsure whether to go for gunmetal, hyper silver or a darker variety. And that's me then done spending more wedge on this car!
Then I can afford to put petrol in the lawnmower when I can be fecked to cut the grass!

Said it before and will say it again, the E46 M3 is the best looking BMW of recent years and so much nicer looking than anything they produce now IMHO. And your example is just
Sir!
Not sure about that - think the E92 M3 is a very worthy successor! But the E46 M3 does still look absolutely fantastic.

I think they look better on the Eibach springs but found the ride to hard and easily upset, which means it doesn't handle as well.
Very fair point and this is highlighted by many M3 owners.Hence why I changed the dampers and top mounts to brand new ones. Rides excellent now, but yes....ever so slightly firm. But the handling is spot on..

Much appreciated, just going to make a few more subtle mods and then job done. I spent ages looking for the one I wanted. Even then I still spent a fair bit getting it 100%.
Sir!But got there in the end.
I must be one of the few who thinks the E46 M3 looks better on original 19" double-spokes?
Funnily enough my car (CSL) originally came on them too, which we're swapped to "CSL"s by the first owner, but I quite frequently think about getting an additional set of double-spokes for it again
Your car looks very well btw!

I think the double spokes are great. But think I am going to have a bash with the CSL's. Suppose I could use the double spokes for winters and leave the CSL's on for most of the year.Funnily enough my car (CSL) originally came on them too, which we're swapped to "CSL"s by the first owner, but I quite frequently think about getting an additional set of double-spokes for it again
