Over 3 months later..car still not ready for Burghley =(
Discussion
So had my spin on 4th of January - damaged the front panels and the radiator. I'm finding it a bit surprising it is still not repaired yet.
Am I unrealistic to expect a quicker turn around on these things? Last year the full respray took over 3 months to do. Now this repair has taken over 3 months to do and still hasn't been completed yet. Many moons ago I was involved in a crash in a Porsche Boxster and the car was repaired and back with me within a month.
Is it just to be expected that when it comes to TVRs that there will be very long turn around times?
I would be interested to hear other peoples experiences on time it's taken for work to be done on theirs!
Many thanks and looking forward to seeing your beauties at Burghley =)

Agree with always being courteous, but there has to come a stage where you politely ask them to pull a finger out
Guessing the car is at the same place you had the re spray? If so there shouldn't be a problem with the colour matching, so struggle to see how they can justify the time. Might be worth asking your insurance to chase up on your behalf to put some pressure on.

I see you're in Surrey, are you using a company near Aldershot? If so from experience they do work to their own time scale and feedback is hard to come by, however the work they do is to a good standard.
After this length of time I'd be on the phone tomorrow to ask for photographs of progress and if not happy ask the insurance to get it moved. Implied or explicit loss of finance usually focuses attention.
Don't forget you pay the premiums so the insurance are working for you.
