Dropping like flies

First an Apache helicopter makes an emergency landing in a field outside Stonehaven.

Then, no sooner has it taken off, a plane has to make an emergency landing in a field just outside Stonehaven.

Less than a week apart and both claiming engine problems. WTF is going on?

That's what I was thinking this morning. Might start wearing a crash helmet when I do the loop over the Netherly road and back over the slug road in case of falling objects... not that a helmet will do much when an Apache lands on you.

Bets on what'll be next? Glider? Blimp? Hot air balloon?
