Ok, boyz looking for some advise here, as my car has just clocked up 14k on its first set of tyres. Now down to legal limit so time to replace, and here's the question what do i get??
Currently my Bella has Bridgstone S0-2 225/45 ZR17's

Any help would be great

Cheers

From experience with TVRs, I have found the Bridgestone tyres to have an exceptionally strong carcass which retains its shape very well. A lighter tyre such as a Pirelli would likely deform and dull the turn in and steering response. For this reason, I cannot even reccommend the likes of the Michelin Sport Pilot or the Goodyear F1. I could be wrong, and the others could have carcasses just as ridgid as the Bridgestone, but I don't know with the 225/45R17 size. Failing that, the SO3s are a better tyre than the SO2s, in my opinion. They are yet more ridgid and seem to offer better bite. Why not take a flier, and let us all know. Obviously, some tyres work better on some cars than others, and it all comes down to personal preference with regard to driving style.

A lot of GTA's come factory fitted with P Zero Rosso's and they seem to wear/grip well.

I had Bridgstone SO-2 and they were sh*t!
Pirelli P6000. They haven't even worn yet and I've done about 7,000km on them. They handel pretty much the same as the Bridg.

Cheers for all the replies, think i might go for the F1's they look like a nice tread pattern, similar to the bridgies as well as having some favourable reviews.

BTW gonna save myself a packet by buying them online from www.mytres.co.uk looks a good site. Anyone had experience of making a purchase from them? good or bad reports?

Absolutely factamundo.
I bet they have caused more hot hatches to pile it than all other factors combined!
