Car lift ramps

Hi.
My grandson is just setting up a workshop and is looking for a reliable but economical 4 tonne car lift. Has any one used one of the Chinese Launch car lifts and are they any good.

If he's after it for commercial use, I'd suspect a "proper" brand would be a wise investment, even if it's a used one.

For domestic use, though, I'm in a similar boat. Once the new garage is built, I'll be chucking a lift in there. I'm umming and ahhing between a new cheapie and a used "pro", so I'd be very interested in any experiences, too.

Been in a few garages using different Launch lifts and heard nothing but good reports.

But...

Look at a few and shop on quality and your budget, not brand names. A sticker won't stop a car falling on your head.
