Been a lurker on here for quite a while however thought I'd say hello finally and participate, if only in a small way.

Cheers. It's actually white although looking at the picture again, it is hard to tell - apologies for an awful photo!
In terms of spec it's got the panoramic roof, Dynaudio, RNS-510 etc. Curiously, the only thing it hasn't got is cruise control however that's being fitted shortly.

A few changes recently...
First off, Volkswagen Racing springs were installed. It now sits as per the picture below - approximately 20-25mm lower than standard.
Then, Volkswagen Motorsport alloys replaced the standard alloys, wrapped in new Michelin PSS tyres...
All being well, the Scirocco Cup spoiler will be added at some point next week; along with the Fiscon Bluetooth unit swapped for an OEM system as the visible mic from the Fiscon system plays on my OCD tendencies.
It's then off to be wrapped matte grey and will have the Kerscher carbon front splitter fitted as part of this work.

Hard to say really as I've only done about 20 miles with them so far (wheels and tyres fitted yesterday). The car had Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2s fitted to the standard alloys which impressed me - especially during the wet winter months we had. I want to say that the Michelins are maybe a touch noisier however that's possibly more down to the roads I drove on yesterday than anything else.Is this the same engine as the TTS,Cupra R etc

Well if you rate the GY's highly I'll be interested on your opinions on the PSS. I'm trying to decide which tyres to put on my 2011 Cupra R.It's the 2.0 TFSI engine which yes, I understand is the same engine as fitted to the previous-gen TTS and Cupra R.

The Scirocco Cup spoiler was installed. A Marmite modification it seems however I think it looks pretty fabulous.
Then the Fiscon Bluetooth system was replaced with the OEM version to get rid of the annoying mic on the driver's side A pillar. After a bit of testing, it appears people can hear me much clearer and there's less road noise.
The carbon front splitter Kerscher manufacture for the Scirocco R also arrived from Germany and will be fitted when the car is wrapped.

Ah, sorry, never updated. Yes I now have and have been impressed. They're definitely noisier (only slightly though) than the Goodyear tyres and possibly a touch firmer however where the Goodyear tyres would start to reach their limit and begin to feel a bit unsteady, the PSSs just continue to grip and show no signs of giving up.There's one particular sweeping bend I often find myself on, with this bend having a crest halfway through. As I'd reach and pass over the crest in 3rd (still accelerating hard) with the GYs fitted, the weight change felt like it unsettled the car slightly - not enough for it to ever lose grip but enough to make you not push it much further. Now, with the PSSs fitted, the car has none of that unsettled feeling in the same scenario.
They're also a better looking tyre to my eye.
Little update.
As of today at 2pm the wrap has been completed, along with the fitment of the front carbon flitter and the blacking out of the badges.
I think it's fantastic - above and beyond what I hoped for. I have to admit that whilst 99.9% of me knew it'd look how I wanted, there was a tiny bit of me that was slightly nervous at the end result (probably because it's such a massive change to the overall look of the car). However, it looks exactly as I imagined it and I'm massively pleased.
Something I found slightly strange was how the car received three direct complements within the space of the first two hours I was driving it. The colour has obviously made a difference because when it was white, it received none.
Regarding the wrap (accepting that I've just got it so my opinions may come across as a bit gushy)... The level of finish is outstanding and a couple of people who have seen it and who don't get the idea of wrapping a car couldn't believe it was a vinyl wrap instead of a paint finish. Yiannimize have truly outdone themselves and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Their level of professionalism is top draw and the quality of the work speaks volumes. They're also a thoroughly decent group of people who happily go out of their way to assist. They may be slightly more expensive than other companies out there however, for me, I feel like I've got excellent value for money.
If any West Berkshire based PH'er is ever thinking about having their car wrapped and is in doubt about what Yiannimize can offer, let me know and I'm more than happy to show you the quality face-to-face.
