Especially when you see totally over inflated prices like this below

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/p...

Nobody will convince me that its worth that, the bubble will burst very soon.

Yes it always does, what goes up must come down.
I think most of the A/C stuff is still a safe bet.
I would not lose any sleep, if my 911 went down in value.

I never bought it for that reason anyway.

yep he got £40k for a 88k mile 3.2 recently. It was lovely though. Worlds gone upside down when burnt damaged 930 are trading for £20k plus. I think he'll get what he's looking for on the black car. Took me 3 years to find a good rust free car. I think there will be a correction with these sort of cars but the rare stuff is going to keep on going north unless government brings in CGT on cars

shout Crimpy, step away from the classifieds!
biggrin

Unfortunately I don't think it's a bubble, unless interest rates rocket and calm everything down, whether that be property or classics.
Wish it would pop though. Pretty soon we are all going to be stuck with what we have. No big shame for some of us but it would be nice to have some options left if we do get bored. smile

Ha ha i know, those days are over just a habit i guess, looking in the classified's
No i don't want that sort of money tied up in the garage anymore whether the values go North or otherwise.
Just invested in some Property for a change, i figured at 11 911's on me CV it was time to throw in the towel. Enjoying the mad turbo i have now which i can use without the fear of it rusting etc and on an everyday basis.
Hope you're well buddy

Fair play sort of takes the enjoyment out of it though IMO, been there and done it and made a few quid but never got to really enjoy them due to lack of use for fear of getting stone chips and rust if there was some drizzle, nice to take to shows though and polish and talk kidney bowls etc

Another quite nice way to blow 30 grand. . . . yeah, I know I know 4wd so not authentic etc, but cheap enough to be used with conviction, convincing enough to "look the part"

I.m pretty sure that was under 20K 18 months ago. People talking about 964 values, however this has been for sale for awhile.

Reasons for that I'm unsure, because I really like it.

Can't see how that can be worth much more than a nice C4.
Low 20's tops.

Probably why it has been up for grabs for 18+mths then, evidently the seller (optimistically ) feels otherwise.
