Ok, so... I find myself single in Leeds.

A few years back when I moved here there was a thread about where to drink http://www.pistonheads.com/GASSING/topic.asp?h=0&a...

And talks of a few social pints.

Well... anyone still up for that?

That sounds like a plan!

(Though at the weekend I vowed to cut down my reds intake)

Head to Fazenda instead then. Either way you'll end up in a meat coma wink

When?

I work in the CIty and would fancy a pint with petrol heads.

Let's do it right and have a monthly meet somewhere that serves decent grog, has got a proper outside area for summer and plenty of safe parking for the cars. My suggestion is Rudding Park, Harrogate.

That would be good, but I was thinking of having more beers than would permit me to actually drive any where wink

I haven't been living in Leeds for too long so would be good to meet some fellow PH'ers. The Hop is a decent bar in the square outside DoubleTree, close to Fazenda Restaurant too.

The Pit is my current favourite, good selection of beers and some cracking meat-based cooking!

Ok so... when's a good date?

Mid may for a proper session?

Bierkeller complex is probably as good a place as any.

I went in by accident to "round the world in 80 beers" on Saturday and, while being slightly low-rent it was pretty busy!

How about a Thursday night (or at least mid-week)? - whilst it means school night sherbert restrictions, I'd imagine getting availability for a weekend will be a nightmare.

Quite happy to jump on train.
