I'm heading through to Edinburgh with the wee one to see Peppa Pig show on Sunday. The show starts at 4pm and I wondered where the best place to park is?
I was planning on going through early by train, but I now have to work until about 2.30pm, so things will be a bit tight. NCP says 15 min walk. "park at my house" 5min walk and cost about £10. On street parking?? but I won't have time to go hunting for a space.

Any suggestions will be appreciated. I can go by train from Falkirk high if it's a better option. We are planning a meal after too.... any suggestions for food for me & my wife and wee girl just under 3 years.
Thanks.

I always park at Alvanley Terrace up at Bruntsfield Links. 5-10 minute walk to the Kings.

Alvanley terr is on street parking, but you should get parked on Bruntsfield Place which is a continuation of the road The King's Theatre is on,there are usually bays available, just be careful of resident only parking bays.

I don't think resident only will be applicable on a Sunday.

As long as you are on the train for 3 and get a taxi straight from the station to the kings you will get there with a couple of minutes to spare.

On Sunday you can park pretty much anywhere for free.

Just make sure to check signs and some include Sunday too, as far as I am aware most inner city residentual parking is only Mon-Sat.
