Best place for SLX groupset

Commuter steed needs new gears- SLX looks like the best bet to replace the 11 year old XT stuff that's on it.
Can find it for sale (transmission groupset only) For £240 but it's from a shop that from past experience I'd rather not use whose name may or may not rhyme with "rave mind".
Any other suggestions? Merlin, Chain reaction etc. seem to be quite expensive for this. Everything on ebay seems to be from the far east.

No groupset, but all the individual parts are listed. I didn't bother doing the maths but Bikediscount.de have worked out very competitive for me in the past for bits and bobs.

This is an 'OE' groupset, without packaging, so sounds like it's come off a complete bike, although it's new/unused.
By the way, the 'rave mind' thing?

... is Deore, but includes brakes and rotors too, from Merlin. Now you've got me looking, I'm tempted myself (MTB needs an upgrade)

JEJames are fine. Thanks for the links. The one I don't want to use is based in Northwich. Messed me about a few years ago when I bought a Deore groupset for Mrs Lufbramatt's bike and they only sent 3/4 of it, then claimed the other bits weren't included in the price. Didn't want to fall foul of the name and shame thing on here.
The bike has Hope mono discs on it which still work brilliantly so am keeping them. Thought about upgrading wife's bike to discs but then I'd have to buy new wheels for it too and the whole thing gets out of hand

The Deore stuff is IMO the best groupset in terms of value for money. The gradual trickle down of features from XTR/XT a few years ago means that the current Deore is all you really need, unless you're looking to shave a few hundred grammes in weight. Deore is incredibly durable and would be perfect for an everyday commuter bike.
If anyone's still on the lookout for cheap group sets, Ribble are now offering the Deore group set for £146
