tractor tyres?

Where would I get an old one from? Do they re-use them, do you know?

My wife wants one of these for her kids (in pre-school, not for our kids, they are a bit big now!)

Local farmer/ plant or agricultural tyre dealers, I guess they'd have some old scrap ones kicking around.

Farmer, as I think it's costs them to get rid they'll give you it as your doing them a favor.

Most tractor or agricultural tyres are now sold fitted & repaired by specialists I believe. I would be inclined to see if there is one of these near where you live & give them a call.

I do think that casings can be re-moulded so a sound one will have some value.

If you do get one check carefully for bead & carcass wires which may be exposed, sharp & dangerous. If children are going to play with it fasten it securely either flat or upright as the casing is too heavy for safety.
