Today I have mostly been making marmalade...
Discussion
The father in law off loaded 2kg of mini oranges and 8 lemons (all home grown) on us this week so today we made marmalade. Surprisingly large amounts of effort required with each of the little oranges having between two and six pips in to remove not to mention peeling all the buggers, the ones in the picture are the leftovers, three times that amount went in!
It's now setting in the garage ready for slopping on a bit of nice warm toast in the morning, nom nom nom...

Made some myself recently after being given a bag of bought in error Seville oranges ... A lot of hassle (especially cutting the white bits off the peel), but have you tried it yet? OMG, homemade marmalade can be so much better than even the best shop bought stuff that superlatives fail me!
