Weird stepper motor... Thing

Hi all,

Just giving the once over to the new weapon, and to make her smoother I thought a clean of the stepper would be in order.... And yup pretty sooted up.

I also found it to be slightly out of shape, with a small piece of metal poking out??? I have now straightened it, and replaced the pin which kind of keeps it in place, but isn't the best... Anyone else seen this?? My old chim didn't have it?

Thats a locking pin that holds the motor in the casing- best push it back in.
