Custom photo albums
Discussion
Hope this is the right place, so here goes.
I want to buy a couple of albums but I want to have it customised with a photo from the holiday.
Looking on line they all seem to be photo books which I assume is pre-printed pages of the photos but I would like to put the real photos into the album myself.
So it would need the 6x4 inserts.
Does anyone know of a service that can do this?
The reason for the mad scheme is most albums covers are boring so I want it to represent the location of the holiday.
Thanks in advance.

If you buy a photo book, you can make the cover look however you want.
HTH
But isn't a photo book, a book with all your photos printed on pages?HTH
I want an album with a custom cover but I still want to put the photos I had developed into.
Does that make sense at all? Or not.
I am old ya know

Okay... they are either old 6 x 4s or you have been using a film camera and have had them developed and want to stick them in a book - right? I want an album with a custom cover but I still want to put the photos I had developed into.

Can't really help, except to say that if you still have the negs you can get them turned into digital photos, then you can create a book with any sort of cover you want.
If you don't have the negs, then I think you might have to trawl ebay (but then you'll still have a crap cover)
BTW, I'm old too.

I just want to put the prints into an album that I can design the front cover. I do not want a book of prints if that makes sense, when I open said album if someone wants to remove the print they can for a closer look.
slip the photo from the page have a look put it back, but a photo book is well like a book?
Going in for crappy phone images to see if this works.
So album like this, but fancy a custom cover.
With photos this size or bigger, that is not the issue.
I am sure I am confusing things you know

With inserts like this.
Jesus the S3 really is a crap camera, glad I use a proper camera for the holidays

Can't help I'm afraid... but I can't see why anyone would want to remove a photo "for a closer look" that would be really weird
Good luck with your search. My best tip would be search for scrapbooks, and you may find one that has a see through cover behind which you could put your own design.

I suppose there's always the option of buying a traditional album, and getting a print made of your choice that's big enough to wrap round the cover (or do it in sections so the folded bit doesn't go manky) stick it down and then cover it with clear sticky-backed plastic folded round into the inside.
Don't forget the Cash's name tape
