Hi all

Does anyone know what the minimum safe load rating is for the rear tyre please?

I am looking to replace my current R888s (97Y) and have found some R888s on line at a reasonable price which are 93Y rating.
My previous rear tyres were Eagle F1As also 97 rating but I seem to remember that at the time I got them, 93 load rating would have been OK based on the Bridgestones which were fitted on the rear. As it's now 6 years ago since I got the Eagles I'm not entirely sure.

Hence I was hoping someone on here might know the facts (have tried the wiki)

Thanks

Andrew

The original Corsas on my M400 were 93Y on the rear and 88Y on the front

97 is for a 2 ton car, 88 and above is more than adequate for a noble.

Andy - you haven't seen the size of the driver, think the 93s are required rather than 88s!
