Importing a car - resale?

Hi

I am contemplating importing a car from the US (Porsche 993).. There is so much choice out there, the models are generally much better spec'd cars with better colour combos etc

Also very reasonably priced due to the exchange rate. I don't mind driving a left hooker, in fact they have a better driving position than the RHD cars.

My question is, how would a LHD car be valued over here if I were to sell up in 3-4 years? would it put you off even if it was a better spec and condition than the UK equivalent?
