Felt only right to share my experience on here.

I just recently bought a 996 Turbo from 911 Virgin and found my dealings with them to be a pleasure.
Extremely knowledgable and patient and the car was prepped beautifully.

It was a big purchase for me both in terms of cost and the fact I'm a car fan and wanted the experience of buying this car to be right. They really delivered in my eyes.

I've posted some stock pictures but when I get a chance I'll post some from its natural habitat!

But suffice to say I'm delighted.

No Le Mans trip planned his year I'm afraid.

Got a nice couple of trips planned though.

Up the west coast of Scotland one I'm looking forward to.

My experience with them has been the same. I've bought Porsches from three OPC's and one other specialist. In my opinion, 911v could teach them all a lesson.

Hope to be seeing them soon. I have only dealt with them on the phone so far but so far my experience has been good. Oh and the op's car looks great.

Nice car - I was montoring this also, but I am searching for a good old manual car. Out of interest was the 996TT the only car on your wish list? I was intending to go for a 997TT but its difficult to ignore the 996 since it offers such ridiculously good VFM.

I started wanting a 997 Turbo. Thats what I was looking for initially but it was at the top end of my budget for a good one.
911 Virgin had a good one and then I saw this car while on their website which was almost exactly half the price of the 997.

The bodywork was so clean and the colour suited my eye. I'm also not a good / daft enough driver to get near the top end performance so the increase in horsepower in the newer car didn't represent value for me either.

Plus I thought if its half the price then depreciation should certainly be slower which was a consideration for me as I'd like to get out of this car and into another Porsche when it's time to change.

Had a good drive up the West Coast of Scotland early this morning. Lovely stuff to start the day.

Interesting - same dilemma. Good 997 = 50k, Good 996 = mid/late 20's. My head is telling me the 996 is actually the better buy but finding a good one could take time. Anyway congrats on your purchase its a lovely looking car and 911V do indeed seem to be a great place to buy from.
If your car history in your profile is accurate, how does it compare to your M3? I'm on my second V8 M3 and its going to be difficult to let it go.........

Temped by the M4?

I have always thought the 996 Turbo and 996 C4S looked fantastic.

Strangely no...I'm not feeling many of the current shape beemers despite having owned plenty and the new m3/4 will not sound like my v8! So I'm thinking I might have to make a bigger change. Interesting (and exciting) comment about the speed because I think the m3 is pretty insane once you get going. I'm gonna need a turbo test drive smile
