Can anyhow tell me the year of this Mercury Outboard 9.9hp
The serial number is 09583813
It's a long shaft 2 stroke

It's not the year, it's the serial number that is important. Some were made in the US, others in Belgium.

Make sure it is a 09 not an 0P, many people get this wrong.

Why do you need an exact date of birth for the motor? Do you just need parts?
They are picked by serial number. It's probably early '90s.
