Tuscan featured on Ultimate Cars
Discussion
TiVo spotted and recorded for me this week's episode of Ultimate Cars on Discovery as it featured the Tuscan.
I've uploaded an XviD version of the programme segment for those that are interested.
20Mb XviD AVI 360x272
13Mb XviD AVI 240x176
I'm not used to converting MPEG2 to save space so this is the best I could do.
Enjoy! Oh, and let me know if this was of any interest to you lot...

nice vid. a fellow tivo owner.. turbonet or airnet ? I managed to kill my HD upgrading it this weekend and had to copy a mates. Damned if I can get airnet working though... fecking thing keeps reseting my gateway (192.168.0.1) to 192.168.1.1... arg. gave up for now, but still upgraded it to 137 gig. which is nice.*
stu
* was gonna be 177 gig.. but the 40 gig HD is now dead to the world..and my preferences likewise.. sniff. Spent all weekend teaching my tivo what I like again. life is cruel.

Help. Cant get the vid to play. I must be doing something darf.
Windows meia player 9 requests a codec, says error downloading then just plays the soundtrack
Quicktime does a similar thing.
I must be missina s plug in help please
Mine's just playing the sountrack too

I converted it using ffmpegX for Mac but don't have access to a PC to test it on one.
Try VideoLan player as that plays virtually everything. If you are only getting the sound then you probably don't have the xvid codec loaded on your machine. I'll have to leave that to a PC user to let you know where to get it/how to install it (but a quick google search finds this site which looks like the codec for the PC) - but try VLC first as I think it supports XVID natively. If still no joy I'll try re-coding it with a different codec.

120Gb TiVo with Turbonet, Tivoweb, SSH, FTP, DailyMail, remote access via secure proxy on my Mac, EndPad, tytools (extraction), Displaytext and probably a few other hacks
