Sorry if this is not the right section to post this.

I have a bicycle on ebay and the guy who is wining the bid has some bad recent feedback. Although his % says 100 the last 5 or so green comments say beware, non-paying bidder, timewaster etc. a couple of days before he mailed me offering about 40% more than what the bike was new and wanted to do away from ebay.

I don’t want this guy bidding or winning the auction as his offer woud have been more than the bike is likely to go for and I think there is something dodgy about him and I don’t want him wasting my time and if it falls through then I have to use the ebay resolution centre and that takes time etc

Any advice much appreciated, thanks

Tell ebay you want it cancelled as he tried to do it outside ebay, they will cancel his bid smile

Maybe adding him to your blocked list will also cancel his bid: http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?bidderblo...

Thanks for the tips. I have gone to the link and added him to the blocked list. I was given a ‘successfully added’ message.

It didn’t remove any of his previous bids (he is current highest bidder), but assume will block any future ones.

Thanks again
