Is a faulty ignition switch a warranty item?

When i take the key out of the ignition and open a door warning sign comes up on the dash saying "ignition key not removed". However, the steering lock operates normally with the key removed. I have tried the other key too, but this doesn't help.

Sounds like the ignition switch?

Sorry to thread hijack,

I've complained about the annoying vibration which occurs when driving down 'red-gra' type road service, it drives me mad.

The OPC said they re-seated it and tested (albeit on smoothish' road services) and found no issues, it's still happening but they say I have to pay for a new one as it's not a warranty item!!!

So what's Porsches 'bumper-bumper' warranty cover?
