Replacing vinyl trim - eBay tips?

Nope, I'm not going after my own DIY vinyl wrap job, but rather need to replace some of the stick-on vinyl on my cars B-pillars.

I want it to be gloss - standard is matte but I did it gloss about 18 months ago and preferred it. However if I type gloss black vinyl into eBay I get loads of results (including hundreds of tacky 'fake' carbon fibre effect stuff).

I want something long-lasting and don't want to pay for any old crap. I'll only need a very small amount afterall. Any tips or is it one of those things I can't really get wrong?
