Hi All,

Picked up my first TVR last weekend, can't use it in anger yet as waiting for our friends at DVLA to return my private plate documents and tax.

It is a 4.0 litre HC and i must say how impressed i am with it so far

I live in Northamptonshire so hopefully be out and about over Easter, DVLA willing of course

Regards

Dave

Well spotted chaps, yes that is Tony Gilbert's place.

We entered into an "arrangement" where he had my TR6 and i had one of his TVR's

I took a few photos of the two together

Welcome Dave, nice choice. I bought mine from Tony nearly 18 months ago, no complaints whatsoever & true to his word regarding warranty etc. Sywell is a great meeting point, look forward to seeing you there at a monthly meet.

Hi Richard and thanks, yes Tony is a lovely chap and such a wonderful setting to buy a car in. I used to chug pass his windmill in my narrow boat little knowing what lurked up there.

Two British icons, in a way both are undervalued classics.... but the TVR more so.

An excellent migration from great to fantastic, you will not be disappointed thumbup
