Hi all,

The other week I replaced the front ARB bushes with polyprop ones and torqued them up to 40 Nm which I'd read was the correct setting. After only a week the bushes are catching, squeaking and don't seem happy at all, despite a load of rubber grease on them. Looking at the bushes they are squished to within a millimetre of their life and look extremely distorted. I'm suspecting that the torque figure was incorrect and they should be considerably looser? Either that or the none matching pair of brackets are not the correct ones?

Can someone please let me know what they should be at? Thanks.

40 is correct ... got to say that the poly bushes for the ARB are close to useless in my opinion. I fitted a set on the Gredge and all they did was squeak so I took them off and fitted the black rubber ones and the job was a good un!

Where do you get the black rubber bushes from? I must admit I fitted Polybushes to mine and they seem fine.
