What cars, be them modern, old or in between do you wish you could buy, or own again, but you cannot justify it? Talking up to around £20k to buy them today.
For me it's my old Sapph Cossie. I'd love another one, but cannot justify it. They're hot, not that comfortable to drive long distances in, parts aren't all that easy to come by at a sensible cost anymore and they lack certain features I deem desirable, the paranoia of something failing or it blowing up.
But.
The buzz of driving one. The Cosworth badge on the rear, the sound of the turbo spooling up, the rawness of the car, the way it gained speed when running over 300bhp, how it looked and felt.
I did consider one when I was looking at M5's, and very nearly went to look at one, a late 4x4 in Magenta, which is what the colour of mine was, but having owned a dog of a 4x4 before, and living in Sheffield at the time, I decided against it. Would it also have felt the same and given me that buzz?
So how about you PHers?
