Please see the link below;

What is the general feeling with this, is the deal too good to be true? I know the delivery wait is 1-3 months and I'm happy to wait considering it's such a good price.

Looking at the price and lead time, probably Chinese fakes.

If something is too good to be true, it usually is.

They say they're sold by Amazon, not a 3rd party.

But they also say 'Pole Position Furious' - when 'Pole Position' and 'Furious' are two slightly different seats.

The 070.78.0628 part number is for the cheaper 'Furious' seat. Still a very good price if it's for real.

There are a list of them for sale at Amazon, all with different types of finsh...

I was thinking of getting the cheapest set then getting them re-covered in leather, but the cost is just so much cheaper than anywhere else, it makes me cautious.

Maybe Amazon get a major discount on bulk buying which is why they can offer the saving?

Hmm, I wouldn't have thought Amazon themselves would be selling fake branded goods. They're hardly a small company and it'd be pretty terrible publicity if they got sued for it. Distinct lack of information and the price does look rather odd, though.

ETA: They're marked on some sites as "discontinued model" so it's possible they had a batch to sell off cheap and have now sold out but not removed the advert so it's just saying "1-3 months" because that's a generic "we haven't got any and the computer system doesn't know when we can get them" thing.
