Massive Speed Trap action in Belgium
Discussion
From midnight tonight, the Belgian police are starting a massive "Day of action against speeding".
At least 130 speed cameras will be used on motorways and main roads. They will also be doing sneaky things like having one obvious speed trap, followed by a well-hidden one a bit further on. The last time they did this, they even had 3 speed traps, one after the other
Hope this helps someone avoid trouble!
MODS: Please don't move this to the Belgium section - it's been on the TV and radio all day so everyone in Belgium should know about it!

Hopefully it'll just be based on unmanned camera traps not a French type all out war against foreign registered cars with SAS standard manned stealth traps. So hopefully Calais to Aachen at the type of speeds their motorways are designed for will still be possible. If not yet more boring pointless slow running at around 80 mph max on motorways designed for a lot more.

If it's like last time there will be motor bikes to chase foreign-registered cars.

Your pills against paranoia have stopped working
? The French police or Gendarmes don't particularly target foreign speeders, they target all speeders. The concept of speed limits is super simple to grasp though. If you brake the law and get caught, don't moan.nickfrog said:
