My suggestion? Merge with Ford already and make some cars that work.

ABSOLUTELY. (Basingstoke dealer especially.) I shall NEVER forget and NEVER buy another Vauxhall.

Why would you guys buy one in the first place ? Just look at the Aguila or whatever its called.... quite possibly the dullest cars around and yet they sold 70,000 Vectra's last year The mass market are uneducated in these matters GB

..well 8 years ago I had a Vauxhall as a company car. The dealer I used was utterly pathetic. The car wasn't much bottle, either. Suffice it to say I will NEVER, EVER EVER own a Vauxhall again - in fact, I won't even take the company car option, either.

Yeah...its the Vauxhall dealers that let 'em down. The cars are perfectly acceptable mass market cars, really....but when you put them in for a service and they come back worse than when they went in.... Well..put it this way..I couldn't own a VX220 or any Vauxhall for that matter. I just can't be bothered with all that s**t when you visit the dealer. You know...the part where you tell them their job (as they obviously don't know what it is) and they tell you to f*** off (sometimes not even politely). "They all do that sir". etc etc etc. AAAARGH! Sorry everyone. Ranting again.

Got to agree, I have an Vectra SRi because my company gets special deals from them. My point being the car itself is alright, handles ok, goes ok, looks ok, MPG over 37 the way I drive isn't too bad either! The problem is the dealer, over 10 hours for a 20000 service and even then they didn't finish it!!! Try my trick, go to a different local dealer and give them the line 'Reckon you can do a better job then those cowboys <insert yours>?' The reply is bound to come back 'Of course sir' it worked for me the service I get is vey good. Edited by .mark on Friday 18th May 13:46
