The V8S I am looking to purchase has two paint dabs (about the size of 10p piece)on the Plenum - I seem to recall reading somewhere that this signifies something (or is it a previous owner testing a touchup pen??)? I have done a search of the forums and cannot find anything about it?

Please could anybody in the know give me a clue?

Thanks

Not sure if it has any significance to spec, although knowing TVR this would be just the sort of thing they would do....... Mine had a green dab of paint on the plenum too, so would be interested to know if this is a sign of something other than a messy previous owner!

These paint dabs are done during engine assembly, don't worry all the castings are compatable, except early flapper type (pre 90)
