is it the gasket ?

Well managed to get the Heads stripped off today,( loads of fun and broken 3/8 breaker bar later damn them head bolts were tight )

Anyway neither gasket looked totally shot although both looked like they may have been seeping on the cylinder nearest the bulkhead ( 7 and 8 ).

On first look neither head appears to have warped ( quick check with steel ruler before clean up ).

So plan is clean everything up thoroughly tomorrow and rebuild replacing all gaskets.
