Another DBS related question - almost everytime I'm turning on a junction, or accelerating (not necessarily hard) from a standing start, I get some wheel spin, almost like the tyres can't get traction, then eventually I move and it drives fine. Is this normal with Astons or should this not happen? Came from a 911 where even if you floored it it just went!

If its cold weather and the tyres are cold this is normal

Perfectly normal, I think it's diff related given that it only really happens on a corner.

How much tread do you have? And they best perform when warm cold tyres just spin.

That's because the engine was over the rear axle, not the front one.

With Corsas at the moment, I'm guaranteed wheelspin from the lights in the first ten minutes or so, unless I moderate the throttle. Thereafter, they just stick.

Happened to me on a DB9 test drive cold tyres and cold morning. Did not happen in a V8VS ASM II same day

Happens on the Virage and previously on the V12V. Solution, less lead on the loud pedal...
