Swap it back temporarily for a cat.

Some people also claim they build a strong relationship with the MOT tester.

Just out of interest how does lamborghini get away with making some models so loud. Friend has a performante but he is non technical so doesn't know, but the car is ear splitting on idle with choke, then quietend but is mega loud wgen pressing on. Presumably the car is fitted with cats so how can they make the volume is there some kind of bypass system?

That noise you are referring to will just be at start up, not at normal idle

The car is so loud at idle because it has technology called 'Secondary Air Injection' this basically pumps extra air through the exhaust system when started up from cold to heat up the Cats as fast as possible as they are most efficient when heated up. (basically to pass emission tests!)

If you listen next time it will only last around 30 seconds before it quietens down a lot!
