how much is minibus breakdown cover?

anybody have a clue? and what if you are stranded with 16 people all staring at you at the side of the m6?

The RAC do a commercial policy
Mine was about £135 for signwritten van,recovery,roadside assistance but not home start.

I guess with the minibus, the problem wont be the bus but the onward transport of 16 people

I imagine that schools and residential homes have cover, but hire and reward will be a different scenario.

Yeah that's my dilemma really. The van is recoverable but what about the folks still intending on reaching their destination or going home even. I wouldn't fancy 4 taxis.

How often are you planning on breaking down that 4 taxis would be a deal breaker ?

I'm pretty certain the student union have cover for minibuses and onward travel of occupants. I will see if I can find out. As said though, how often do you plan to break down?! I've covered a lot of mileage in a lot of minibuses, both as driver & passenger. The troublesome ones are hire company ones at the end of their life and student union owned ones. Others are typically quite reliable (touches wood).
