are you implying that there is a problem because it has been rebuilt?? why a wolf in sheeps clothing, assume there is some history to this car that you want to share?

Nope, not implying anything, just translated the text of the add, it does state that it has been converted from a 3000M to 3000S, which for some folk is a problem......

Google Translator must be the best source of amusement for decades, surely.......

this is what it states;

quote

This TVR is originally as Coupe (3000 m) rolled out of the factory in 1973 and is also registered. The first registration is from 1977 and this car is built more than 15 years ago as 3000S with a new Convertible body. The M and S had the same chassis and the same powertrain. In 2008, the car features a new substances Sonneland convertible top. It is a very nice TVR 3000 in good and nice condition. An original S costs in this State probably the double!

At least it features 'new substances' (whatever that are....)

Being multi-lingual does help some in these cases !

@Clive: will you be at Spa ? (16-18/5)

It certainly looks very odd, bonnet mods, sat far too high and the bonnet looks adifferent colour to the rest of the car?

Assume it is using the original 1973 3000M bonnet, which looks like it could fit better.

It would be a fun car, but presumably not worth as much as an original 3000S in the same way that my 3000S turboed by Adrian Venn will never be worth as much as a genuine 3000S turbo. There is also an early 3000M turbo out there which wears a 3000S shell - presumably that would be valued midway between the two if it ever came onto the market.

Oliver.
