Something strange has happened...

For the past 6 months (or maybe more) I have been putting up with a small head gasket leak and consequent spitting out of coolant into the catch tank (and sucking back in) not a big deal through the winter and I had a plan to sort it out eventually.

Anyhow, since my mishap with the rotor arm, it's stopped doing it. Very small amount of gas expelled from the overflow but it's keeping all the fluid in...

So I thought I'd post this up to a) celebrate and b) tempt fate - if it don't come back tomorrow then I'll know it's fixed itself!

(Reminder to self - make sure I put No. 8 ignition lead back on properly!)

I have had similar but after I had my head gaskets done, anyway one day I noticed a liquid seeping out of one of the bolts holding the manifold on. So tightened it and 4 of the others were loose so did them and its been fine since. So I am like you adam but not going to celebrate as that will tempt fait!
