PT Cruiser Headlights Flickering
Discussion
Hi. I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction.
My wife has a 2005 PT Cruiser (she likes it) and the headlights keep flickering along with the dash lights. It is most noticeable with full beam on and becomes excessive as I brake.
As it seems to get worse with more current being being drawn (full beam and break lights on) my guess is its a poor earth somewhere.
If anyone out there has any experience of this problem, or if they could tell me where to locate possible earth points on the car I would be most grateful.
Cheers.

Same car. Lights problem. Off side headlamp packed up. No volts to the plug. Internet search indicates the TIPM module could be at fault. Costs $580. Ouch. Be careful, the later cars switched control modules, and fuses in the later one don't exist. I also occasionally get ALL the dash warning lights on for a few seconds when I slow down after a run. The engine keeps going though. Wondering if that's a battery/alternator fault. The other problem is that Chrysler recently dumped most of their dealers who were also Mercedes dealers, and the garages who have picked up the Chrysler work have no history/experience, so are in the dark re the electrical problems these cars exhibit.
Thanks littleredrooster and robinessex for your speedy responses.
Cheers guys. Armed with you advice I shall have a look and see what I can find.
Unfortunately I work away from so I'm unable to do much until I get home. But as soon as I find anything I shall let you know.
Many thanks.
