I'm very blessed that in my job I get to drive an awful lot of cars and I've just had my first blast in an F-Type R.

Really impressed. Yes the switches on the steering wheel look like something Ssangyong would use and the technological features don't even come close to some of the German competition but I've totally fallen for it.

It handles very well (not as well balanced as the S but still very good) and nothing I've ever driven comes close in terms of noise or looks.

The sound is incredible, you can't put it in dynamic mode or press the exhaust valve button without people being able to hear you from miles away, even when driving conservatively it pops without any apparent reason (other than it sounds good). The 6.2 in the C63 Black topped my list previously but I think this just pips it.

It also looks gorgeous, I debated not putting a picture up because it might detract from the best feature (the sound) but I couldn't resist;

It is undeniably beautiful, I think more so in the flesh than any picture. I was offered to drive the R by my local dealership but declined as I've ordered the V6 and don't want to be shown what I can't afford! I have one month to go until delivery. Here's a couple of V6 pics from the showroom:

I just picked up my XFR from a service at the dealer and finally saw an F Type Coupe in the flesh. All I have done since I arrived home is read F Type R reviews and look at how I can try to afford one. I really should stick with the pick up and drop off service!

I'm still in love, Wednesday will be painful when it has to go back.....

Every errand that needs running, anything that needs fetching has been done in the F-Type.

Last night I got the parcel shelf off and even had the dog in the boot. He didn't have much space but prefers a snug boot anyway! Might try to get a picture up in a bit...

Apparently some arrived ahead of schedule last week so fingers crossed the trend continues!

I'm currently deciding between convertible or coupe - the dog picture is brilliant as I have a pooch!

What are the key difference between the 2 cars - has to be a 5.0 litre

About 50bhp, and 6" legroom. I don't fit convertible at 6'2". But a coupé is perfect..

Coupe every time!

That boot spoiler is simply hideous. Why Jaguar are continuing to chase trends with crass detailing I have no idea....

Excellent picture of the hound in the boot.
I hope the F Coupe will be our next car, but we need space for two cocker spaniels and that boot looks perfect.
Before people laugh, we set out to buy a BMW Z4 coupe for our current car, but the boot was too small for the dogs, so ended up with a 6 series, purely based on space for the dogs. I will trek to the dealer and check if they will fit comfortably and if we can find a way to safely, securely and comfortably harness them in place.
Next choice V6 Vs V8
woohoo

Saw a red one coming out of Norton Canes services yesterday and it was beautiful.

Also got passed by an XJ220 on the M40 but that's another story.
