My GF is running the Great Edinburgh Run on Sunday, and I will most likely be on my own.

I know my way about fairly well, but I'm looking for somewhere with good coffee and food, and where I can happily kill some time with the paper.

A nice view or a place with tables at the window where I can people/car watch would be a bonus! I'm not demanding at all hehe

For reference of area, here's the route - http://www.greatrun.org/app_files/gr_files/Bupa-Gr...

Tasty of Italy, right next to the 1st mile on your map beside London Road, ideal windows for spotting at a busy round about interlinking some main roads. Tend to go here for lunch, can recommend the padova panini if you fancy such a thing (fried chicken in a panini) in the morning. smile
