Had a pleasant visit yesterday to HH Classic Auctions at IWM Duxford. A tidy 1993, 4.5L, 80,469 miles, Chimaera was sold for £8,960 less £470 commission. I did a finger nail scrape of outriggers, seemed 1993 original.

A Vincent, Black Shadow went for £83,000. A DB6 Aston, £158,000. Rather have a TVR.

Some cars fetching daft amounts, a 1994 Daimler Double Six (6 litre V12) with 71,200 miles and "... will hopefully possess a fresh MOT by the time of sale..." £5488!

An 1990 S3 needing some work sold for £3584. A promising 1972 1600 needing work sold for £6,160.
