Traffic Congestion caused by busy attraction

We live near what used to be a petting farm. Over the last few years it's changed ownership, and now boasts lions, giraffe's and other species indigenous to the UK.
What is now happening is on a sunny weekend day they get busy. As people leave 2PM onwards they ignore the Direction signs and head towards a busy junction, where they wait to try and turn right. This waiting can take some time - in the meantime no-one can turn left.
The result is 1/2 mile tailbacks, and idling traffic next to our rear garden.
The answer is simple. If the junction was to be made left turn only, there is a little traffic light system a very short distance away that would easily allow the right turn traffic to change direction - and it would be quicker than trying to make the right turn.
But how to make this happen? Any ideas?

Try the enviroMENTALIST card and complain about air quality issues? They seem to take precedence over most things and are used regularly by people to object to something they don't like.
You could always try pushing for a proper transport assessment for any future changes/development or check they are working within their permitted licences etc at the moment.
I used to work in construction and concrete plants were built in out of the way locations where people where going to be building and development was expected, as soon as their house or office etc was built locals then wanted them shut down due to dust, noise, nuisance etc.
The same problems are occuring all over the place and are only going to get worse as the present governments "growth" agenda is pushed forward at all costs and "unsustainable? " 'development' continues.
Unless you fight hard your easy option is to put up with it or move ? Harsh but true
