TOPIC CLOSED Mods can I have a quick explanation please

I started an a genuine, and unassuming topic on old Land Cruisers yesterday, seems to have generated a reasonable amount of chat, and I had my questioned answered, but I have just seen it marked as"TOPIC CLOSED"

Why is this please...

I'm more curious than concerned.
