1983 factory wages

one of my bosses has a series 1 350i that has been in storage for years his just pulled it out to his house for restoration while sorting out all the bits one piece of trim had been used by one of the factory workers to work out there wages and overtime

These messages just add to the magic that is TVR. You almost get to know the lad that bolted the bits on and hear their conversations about which pub they were all meeting up in later to spend their wages! Most modern car factories would sack the workforce for introducing a speck of dust or stray hair to the production line, but then TVR's were build by people with roll-ups behind their ears and not robots. Nice one.
