Another 'what a great day' thread

First blat for about 5 days, 80 mile round trip to see the girlfriend 
Drove through Thetford forest, birds singing, sun came out, took some of the twisties on near full chat, mechanical music singing in my ears.... had to park in the pub car park (she lives two doors down from the pub), hardly out the car and was accosted... 'stunning, awesome, always wanted one, V8?' yes mate, 5 litres of V8 goodness ... 'that's lovely, always fancied one... can you still get parts for them?' Yep no problem... his wife was grinning as well 
He had one of those 'if only' look in his eyes Makes you realise what lucky buggers we are...
Drive back was even better, bugger all traffic about, B roads and 6k rpm Then down the local for a couple of pints, followed by pizza and a bottle of CabSav.... life doesn't get much better... Sometimes I wonder how I enjoyed life before beastie.....
