GT3 997.2 - Help
Discussion
Right unusually for me need some thoughts. Don't tend to keep cars that long but I've got a nice 997.2 C4S been offered what I paid for it last year. While I love the car the exhaust isn't load enough(has PSE) and the general car doesn't involve me enough ie. it's not an event driving it! I'm considering a GT3 but wondered what people think on residuals on the last manual GT3 do peopel think they'll drop in price once the 991 is sorted or are they going to remain around £70 for ages.
I'm trying to weight up the cost of keeping a C4S which will depreciate slowly or spend more and get into a gen 2 GT3.... Also anyone know the black car at solihull as it has 19k on the clock and hasn't sold since Jan ? too many miles or overpriced??
I'm assuming the GT3 will be good to drive but haven't driven one yet...
Any other pointers feel free. Might sell the C4S and spend time hunting down the perfect GT3... anyone with an Aqua clubsport one owner low miles out there!!

agree but are they going to come down a touch at the end of the season when new 991 start getting out there(and working)?
Historically that has happened pretty much every year (the spread from Spring to middle of Winter being around 10%) until last winter. Around that time 991s were being delivered (albeit late) and the issues weren't evident, thus there is a contention that knowing that there will not be another manual GT3 has halted the seasonality. With 997.2RS prices going bonkers over the last couple of months, waiting may be either genius or foolhardy - calling it either way is proper crystal ball stuff at the moment I am afraid. If the seasonal spread does continue, make sure that if you ever sell it you do so at the same time of year
If you wait to find out, you will have lost half a year of your life without one in order to find out if you blew an opportunity or not. Roll the dice or not.....?
Half rolled the dice by selling my mint C4S. Just washed it tonight it's being collected Thurs. Actually felt quite sad! That means I've enjoyed two C4Ss over the last 15 mths and it has cost me virtually nothing!
I'm looking at Solihulls GT3 soon but it seems a bit high mileage at 19k(I know sounds stupid but I intend to put miles on it so maybe should look for lower mileage....)
Any how we'll see how it goes...
Any one after a mint 997.2 C4S speak to cameron sports cars....it will be there form Thurs.

I think you should pick up the phone and speak to Russ at JZM in the morning as I know he has a fully loaded GT3 Club Sport in black coming in. He sold my GT3 RS yesterday at Silverstone and we were chatting about the amount of cars they actually get in and sell without them ever hitting the website. In last few weeks they have sold without advertising really low miles 996 RS, really low miles 993 turbo S, an aqua blue GT3 RS. So if that is what you want call today, don't delay:-)
