Try Ryan or REIS. The latter were a touch cheaper for me - storage and transit for car (when not under its own power)& trailer. biggrin

Probably about right with 40k cover.
The trailer seemed to load the policy a bit more. The lady said thats what gets knocked from paddocks most of the time. They were also adamant that 2 separate security devices are to be fitted to trailer when parked.

Extracts from the paperwork I have:

Minimum Security Standards for Storage & Transit Cover.

Car Regular place of storage must be a secure building of sound construction.

Trailers When stored a minimum of two security devices must be attached and operative. When in transit a minimum of one security device must be attached and operative.

Notes

Car stored in a secure compound or in a closed trailer must be agreed in advance.

A hitch-lock on its own is not considered to be a security device. It must either be accompanied by a second device or used to attach the trailer to another object.

For example:
Hitch lock and wheel clamp counts as two devices
Hitch lock attaching trailer to a car counts as one device
A hitch lock on its own offers very little security and does not count.

A secure building with doors and windows must have:-
All doors fitted with a dead lock
All windows or other openings to be fitted with internal bars

Sound construction is of brick, concrete, or block construction with a tile, slate, clad
or felt roof. All timber buildings and thatch roofs must be referred in advance.

I read that to mean 2 devices when its in its usual place of storage - I would consider it being parked in a paddock or elsewhere to be in transit? I'll double check that with them tomorrow! winkbiggrin

. . . and the advice from REIS:

. . if the trailer is not connected to the back of your car attach 2 forms of security - as when it is not attached (in transit) it is considered as being stored.
