Fingers crossed for no more delays but I am due to pick the wedge up from the body shop on Wednesday night!!!
There has been delay after delay after delay but I saw it last week and it was coming together but after a conversation with them tonight its on the home straight. Fibreglass cars are a minefield!!
Got to put it all back together (I took it apart so want to put it together!) But hopefully I will be out this weekend.
Whoop!!!!

Pleased to report that all is moving in the right direction and its still being polished but looking realluy very smart.
Ive only seen it once outside but all the rest has been under workshop strip lights but the colour looks far richer than before..
Anyway, thursday evening its being delivered then ive got to take some pics and do lots of cleaning!! Here is how she stood yesterday morning.

I managed to get some original ford orange indicators from a main dealer to replace the oval clear oves i had - they were only £25 so i was pleased with that.
Roll on tomorrow!

Are you having any anti-chip protection fitted to the nose Matt, or....hoping your first journey doesn't involve following a cement truck!!
This happened to me back in 2006 when I purchased a new Ford Focus ST. Barely 200 miles on the clock and a concrete covered stone from the lorry I was following (not closely either..for just this reason) hit my bonnet. Big stone chip!!
Cue lots of newly invented swear words!!

- Shes looking mighty good though!

Cheers guys
I have bought some paint protection film but the thick stuff as I want to make sure the high traffic parts (rear splitter, front and rear arches) get this as they get smashed to pieces.
Depending on how this goes, I might put this on the front too (just the front vertical part) as although the thin product is less visible it is very strong. I got the spandex product which is very good quality so will report accordingly.
Only 19 hours till I get it back...oh, and pay the bill

When I had my Tasmin resprayed (in...er... 1999?) it was finished on the first day of the biggest cold snap of the winter and on the drive home from the paint shop I got stuck behind a gritting lorry This happened to me back in 2006 when I purchased a new Ford Focus ST. Barely 200 miles on the clock and a concrete covered stone from the lorry I was following (not closely either..for just this reason) hit my bonnet.

Still, it hardly mattered when several moths later some
