Need to send it off to be refurbed or replaced. Was going to use these guys as it seems a lot more reasonable than the specialists are charging even with an exchange, has anybody got any experience with them?

These guys are very close to the Ace Cafe (and to me also), whilst I've only used them once for a starter motor check, they have a very good reputation.

whilst i can not say that it works but i hope that having added a heat shield around the starter motor that it will help with the heat soak and increase the life of the starter motor.

Although must put mine back on having removed it a couple of weeks ago.

What's the heat shield look like? Got the everything off mine at the moment. If it's a simple fab job I will make one. Together with thermal coating manifold should do some good!
