Replacement "Dead Car" Key
Discussion
Hi folks,
Just a quick one, my v12 didn't come with the dead-car key, for want of a different term. Has anyone had a new key cut for their car or know the cost? (this is before I call AM and have a heart attack)
I guess the other option is to go to AM Parts, get a key and barrel from a dead car and replace the mechanism in the door.....
The car is all good at the moment but it does make me a little nervous thinking that a dead battery will really screw me up!
Thanks
Dave

Interesting to hear that..... I didn't use my old one at all and generally a battery will still release doors even if its not got enough juice to start the car. I'll put the call in for a laugh and see what the damage could be :P
I told Stratstone that I had never had one and they just put one in the post
