Not 100% sure, but in John Tippler's book, TVR: An Illustrated History, there is a photograph showing two people and reads:
'While Peter Wheeler had the final say in deciding what shapes should go into prototype stage, the cars were styled by Damian McTaggart and Nick Coughlan. There is some crossover, but generally Damien does the interiors and Nick shapes the exteriors, with additional input from John Ravenscroft. There are very few drawings or 'renderings', and instead the proposed design is built up on an existing buck, which is coated in a thick layer of insulation foam, applied with spatulas. Once hard, it can be cut, sliced, pared and gouged into whatever shape is required, using planes, saws, hammer and chisel, even bread knives. A fresh coat of foam covers any unwanted details, and in this way the basic idea for the new shape evolve......"
